November 2025 – Mental Health First Aid
A group of tutors at FAB Learning have recently had the opportunity to take a Mental Health First Aid Course with MHFA England alongside their colleagues and individuals from a range of educational settings.

During their training days, tutors had the opportunity to learn about various mental health issues, as well as strategies for responding and supporting those who suffer with their mental health. Upon completion of the training, they commented on how beneficial it was in reducing mental health stigma, creating safe spaces, as well as improving conversations with others around their mental health challenges. Most importantly, they felt they had more awareness of the resources they can signpost others to in order to support them.
According to MHFA , ‘Together, we create effective and inclusive wellbeing strategies that foster mentally healthy, high-performing, and productive teams that mean workplaces can thrive. By improving understanding of mental health and reducing stigma, we help spark supportive conversations that also extend beyond the workplace, strengthening communities, and improving and even saving lives.’
We are thrilled that our tutors feel that they now have even more tools to support the young people we work with, as well as their colleagues.
Feel free to visit the MHFA England website for more information about the work they carry out.
