December Exams Week
During the first week of December 2025, all year 11's completed Functional Skills exams in English and Maths.
We are incredibly proud of all of the hard work, resilience, and perseverance shown by each of our learners during exams period. A total of 31 learners were registered for exams and 155 exams were administered by FAB Learning during exams week. We are so proud of those who decided to attend their exams- 74% of all registered learners chose to attend, even on days where many of them were not scheduled to regularly be in provision!
During exams week, Chloe Argent-Duncan (Director of FAB Learning) stated, 'We have had a brilliant turn-out for learners who chose to come and write their exams, which shows their value for their education and their futures. The exam centre has had a buzz to it and it has been wonderful to see learners talk about taking steps towards their future Post-16 placements when they have walked out of the examination rooms. This could not have been made possible without our hardworking tutors, Learning Managers and parents who have supported and encouraged our learners. It has been a massive team effort and we are so happy that our learners have had the opportunity to gain qualifications this early in the academic year which will set them up for future success as they transition to the next steps of their education.'
January 2025 - We are very pleased to share that 21 qualifications were achieved by our learners across the provision. We are so proud of each of our learners who took part in exams and those who have worked so hard towards their course work. All Year 11 learners will be offered retakes of exams in February 2026, as well as the opportunity to pursue higher qualifications during this time period. All learners and commissioners will be provided with a copy of the learner's qualification to support them as they transition to their Post-16 destinations.
